BTS’ Jungkook To Join Graduation Ceremony Ahead Of Kpop Group’s ‘Wings’ Concert Tour
A member of boy band BTS will soon celebrate an important milestone in his personal and educational life. Jungkook is set to attend his upcoming high school graduation rates while the Kpop group gears up for their "Wings" concert tour.
BTS' Jungkook is expected to attend the impending graduation ceremony at the Seoul School of Performing Arts. Scheduled on Feb. 7, Tuesday, the Kpop idol will join his fellow batch mates, as well as other South Korean celebrities, as they mark the completion of their high school lives, All Kpop reported.
The youngest member of the seven-member boy band, Jungkook is considered a late graduating student as compared to his classmates. Born in 1997 and having enrolled a year later than other students born in 1998, the singer had to delay his studies given the K-pop group's various activities.
Apart from the said BTS band member, G-Friend crooner Umji will also join the upcoming high school graduation ceremony. Unlike Jungkook, Umji is on track with her studies given her 1998 birth year.
Meanwhile, Jungkook's upcoming high school graduation is just several weeks away from BTS' "Wings" concert tour. The South Korean Kpop idol group will jumpstart their world tour with several concert performances in Seoul before traveling to different South American countries and the U.S.
In other news, tickets for the American leg of the boy band's "Wings" tour were sold out shortly after it went on sale in mid-December 2016 that prompted organizers to add two concert dates, according to Billboard. Instead of two single performances in Newark and Anaheim scheduled on March 24 and April 1, respectively, BTS American fans can also see the Kpop group on stage in Newark on March 23 and April 2 in Anaheim.
BTS' upcoming "Wings" concert tour will begin with two Seoul performances on Feb. 18 and Feb. 19.
