Park Bo Gum Displays Romantic Side During Tokyo Fan Meeting
Park Bo Gum delighted his avid fans as he showed off his singing prowess during his Asian fan tour. Recently, the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor held a successful meet-and-greet event in Tokyo where he melted the hearts of thousands of Japanese fans.
Around 5,000 Japanese fans came to see the South Korean actor during the Tokyo leg of his Asian fan tour. In a press statement released by Park's agency, as cited by Yonhap News, Blossom Entertainment shared some of the event's memorable activities that further endeared the Hallyu star to his loyal followers.
Held on Feb. 4, Saturday, at the Tokyo International Forum, the event marked the first time that Park held a fan meeting in the said country. Apart from participating in fun games with the audience, he also showed off his musical talents as he serenaded his fans while a piano played in the background.
The "Reply 1988" actor also surprised the event attendees when he tried to converse in Japanese. When fans requested Park to share what he was feeling at that moment, the South Korean celebrity drew an image of a heart.
Meanwhile, unlike the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor's Taiwan fan meeting, his recent Tokyo meet-and-greet event did not feature a special guest. Held on Jan. 23, Monday, Song Joong Ki joined Park on stage for a quick interview and even helped his labelmate complete a few challenges.
The two actors also talked about their friendship where Park described Song as a senior colleague whom he can count on to give him acting tips, All Kpop reported. The "Descendants of the Sun" star also commented on Park's recent 2016 KBS Drama Awards win and revealed that he cried during his friend's acceptance speech since he remembered the actor's personal struggles in the early part of his acting career.
Park is set to travel to Thailand and Singapore to meet his fans on Feb. 11 and Feb. 18, respectively, before returning to South Korea.
