Several "Pokemon GO" players got frustrated with the most-recent update released by Niantic since it has no major new offering at all. Now, new reports are claiming the supposed Valentine event could possibly happen.

Clash Gear reported that Niantic has already made plans for the upcoming Valentine's Day event. The news outlet has also speculated that there will be a new batch of Gen 2 Pokemon arriving soon in the "Pokemon GO" game.

Rumors have it that along the new batch of Gen 2 Pokemon, there is also a possibility that legendary birds such as Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno could possibly arrive in the "Pokemon GO" game. According to rumors, the Valentine's Day event may also bring in some most significant updates to the virtual-reality game.

There is no denying that Niantic has been very successful in keeping its followers hooked to the "Pokemon GO" game by simply releasing updates to improve it on its entirety. Events have also been a hit with fans who are looking forward to getting more items and pocket monsters to become the very best!

Though these rumors about the Valentine's Day Event could possibly be true, Niantic has remained tight-lipped about this. So, "Pokemon GO" players should take these things lightly until an official statement regarding this matter has been issued and approved by the gaming company.

Meanwhile, Express has reported that "Pokemon GO" continue to dominate the gaming department as it has maintained the lead for being the most popular game today. According to a recent analyst report, the Niantic game has already generated a total of $1 billion revenue since its launching in July 2016.

"While its daily revenue has diminished since late July, when it grossed more than $18 million in one day compared to the $1.5 to $2.5 million it has made per day recently-Pokémon Go has shown that it can still spark consumer spending through limited-time events, such as its highly successful Halloween bash," the analyst report stated.
