Kate Winslet does not want her beauty ads photoshopped; The Divergent star has had a no retouch clause in her Lancome contract, according to Daily Life.

For years, the actress has been outspoken on her stand against excessive editing of her ads, and magazine spreads: She also refuses to allow Hollywood to dictate her weight.

In February 2003, Kate's legs were heavily edited on the cover of GQ. "The retouching is excessive", says Winslet. "I do not look like that and more importantly, I don't desire to look like that."

The magazine's editor then, Dylan Jones confirmed that the photos have been doctored.

"I have wrinkles here, which are very evident," she told Harper's Bazaar in 2009. "And I will particularly say when I look at movie posters, You guys have airbrushed my forehead."

Kate Winslet also graced the cover of Vogue's November 2013 issue, and the result was nearly recognizable because it was heavily airbrushed. The cover did not show any trace of nature, as cited by Huffington Post then.

"I think they do look to magazines, I think they do look to women who have been successful in their chosen careers and they want people to look up to, and I would always want to be telling the truth about who I am to that generation because they've got to have strong leaders", says Kate to E News' Catt Sadler.

The ladies were at the Elle Women Hollywood Event where she reveals that she is the face of Lancome. "We're all responsible for raising strong young women, so these are things that are important to me."

Other celebrities have posed with no editing. Stars like  Zendaya, Keira Knightley, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lorde, Lady Gaga, and Gisele Bundchen have all spoken out on modifying a person's face or body.

Bundchen has praised BLK DNM's creative director for his 'you are you' approach. Giselle was shot for the brands campaign without hairstyling or makeup in 2013. "Our imperfections are what makes us unique and beautiful", says the supermodel.
