Red Velvet’s Wendy Reveals Why She’s Forever On A Diet

Red Velvet's Wendy explained why she's forever on a diet as her bandmates revealed her strict diet and strange eating habits.

The 22-year-old member of the Korean girl group Red Velvet revealed why she has to constantly watch what she eats as her bandmates picked on her constant diet.

"I don't think we've ever shared a full meal with Wendy," said Yeri on the latest episode of tvN's "Raid the Convenience Store" where Wendy is one of the MCs.
The members revealed that Wendy rarely eats and would instead offer her food to everyone else. Even her fellow members couldn't understand why she can't take some slack and enjoy some food from time to time.

"I satisfy myself by watching the members eat," said Wendy and explained further, "I used to be fat and now I've lost a lot of weight. I'm always worried that if I begin eating more, I will gain weight again."

Wendy's manager supports her strict diet as the pilot episode even caught her monitoring the food that the singer can eat. The show may be a challenge, however, as it is entirely about finding smart ways to cook food bought in a convenience store. This means Wendy would constantly be face to face with tempting food and unhealthy snacks.

Popstar Rain is another celebrity who's confessed to a strict diet and strange obsession to popular restaurants.

He revealed his obsession when he appeared as guest on "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator."

"If a popular jjamppong (Korean spicy seafood noodle soup) restaurant in Gunsan shows on TV, then I really try to go there," said the singer-actor. "I dedicate my day for that Gunsan jjamppong. The reason why I have such great passion for food is because I used to have strong desires to succeed and ate only one meal a day to maintain my body. I wanted to eat really well during that one meal. It was always really good one ramen or really good Gomguk..."
