Hallyu star Jun Ji Hyun felt grateful for completing the filming of SBS' hit drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" with no accidents.

The 35-year-old top-rating actress managed to go unscathed after filming for six months as she played the role of a mermaid in the recently concluded drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

"It was all thanks to the staff members that we were able to complete filming without accidents throughout the 6 months. Thank you and I love you," allkpop quoted Jun Ji Hyun as saying.

She also thanked the viewers who followed the show as she talked about the challenges and her experience in the show's production.

"There were a lot of concerns and worries about playing the new character of a mermaid but I was able to joyfully work due to everyone's support and encouragement," said the actress. "I appreciate the viewers who loved 'The Legend of the Blue Sea'. I think it'll be a memorable production to me, as much as it was difficult filming."

She added, "I'll work harder to show more of the good sides of me."

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" aired its finale Wednesday with a top rating of 17.9 percent, according to the data released by Nielsen Korea Thursday. Jun Ji Hyun played alongside fellow Hallyu star Lee Min Ho.

The beautiful actress remains to be highly in demand as revealed by the earnings she makes per episode and for every CF she appears in.

MBC's "Section TV" revealed last month that Jun Ji Hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, makes a whopping 100 million KRW or about US $86,000 per drama episode.

She made a comeback to the small screen in 2013 for SBS' "My Love From Another Star" where she played alongside another fellow Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun. She reportedly made 14 endorsements since then and earned 1 billion KRW or about US $850,000 per CF.
