Millions of techies around the world are now excited for the upcoming release of the OnePlus 5. Now, new reports are claiming that the imminent smartphone is going to be a game changer.

Know Your Mobile has reported that One Plus will not be releasing the OnePlus 4 and produce the much talked about OnePlus 5. According to the news outlet, Chinese manufacturers are skipping the number 4 since it is considered as an unlucky number.

Despite that, One Plus fans should not fret as OnePlus 5 is expected to hit the market by storm with its impressive specs and features. Among the things, techies should watch out for is its ceramic bodyshell.

Rumors have it that the upcoming OnePlus 5 is also going to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is also said to feature a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display screen.

Moreover, the OnePlus 5 smartphone is expected to use the OxygenOS, which will be based on the popular Android 7.0 Nougat. As for its storage, the flagship will likely have 64GB memory space.

Meanwhile, Tech Advisor has reported that OnePlus 5 will be at par with LG G6, HTC 11 and Samsung Galaxy S8 in terms of processing. The processor used in the upcoming OnePlus flagship was made with 10nm process, which means it will be efficient without compromising the battery life.

Speculations also suggest that OnePlus 5 will have a 23-megapixel rear snapper. It will also have a 4,000 mAh battery with Dash Charge feature. Other features include a gyroscope, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, compass and a fingerprint processor.
