Thousands of anime fanatics are now excited for the premiere of the "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2. Now, new reports are claiming that the upcoming installment will be announced in YOI Marathon Talk Show.
Crunchy Roll has reported that the said marathon will take place in the TOHO Cinemas Roppingi Hills in Japan on February 11. Aside from a marathon of the series' first installment, it has also been reported that "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 will finally be confirmed.
A talk show segment, where hints about "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 could possibly be released, is reportedly happening where most of the people behind the highly successful anime series. Voice actors Kouki Uchiyama (Yuri Plisetsky), Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Yuri Katsuki) and Junichi Suwabe (Victor) were reportedly invited.
Another personality who could possibly give spoilers about the upcoming "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 is Mitsurou Kubo, who is also in charge of the concept, storyboard and character design. The said talk show segment will be streamed in over 47 cinemas; however, all tickets have been sold out.
Though the rumors about the "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 announcement could possibly be true, no official statement from the makers and producers of the popular anime series has been made public as of yet. So, fans who have been waiting for the upcoming sequel should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
Meanwhile, GamenGuide has previously reported that "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 2 will feature Yuri getting broken hearted as Victor decides to breakup with her. Good thing is, Yuri is said to move on from the Grand Prix loss and his heartbreak later in the sequel installment.
