Big Bang To Make Last Group Stage Performance Tonight At 'Inkigayo'
K-Pop's biggest hip hop boy band Big Bang is slated to make their last stage performance as a complete group tonight in "Inkigayo."
According to allkpop, Big Bang will perform their aptly titled new song "LAST DANCE" on a stage filled with white roses decorated in such a way that it reads a message that says, "When can we meet again?"
The show's producer Cho Moon Joo also previously reported that this last act of the band as a complete group is meant to be a touchy one since fans won't be seeing the five members together in a while.
"Big Bang is preparing to perform 'Last Dance' for fans," allkpop quoted Cho Moon Joo as saying. "They're giving extra attention in many aspects. It'll be a touchy farewell."
Main rapper T.O.P. will temporarily leave the limelight as he starts his military duty next month while group leader G-Dragon and balladeer Taeyang will enlist this year. The youngest members Daesung and Seungri are expected to enlist in 2018.
In line to this, YG Entertainment confirmed that G-Dragon and Taeyang would release their solo albums later this year.
"G-Dragon and Taeyang are both planning for their solo comebacks. The exact time has not been decided on yet," stated YG Entertainment on Friday.
T.O.P. shed tears during a concert in Japan last year when he talked about leaving his fans and bandmates, though only temporarily.
"People say there isn't much time left of the 5 of us together but I think the 5 of us will be together forever," said the rapper, according to Nikkan Sports via allkpop.
He then went on to express how precious the stage, his fans, and the band was to him.
T.O.P. added, "Also, I have a favor to ask my fans. Be with us so the 5 of us can continue to be together."
