New 'Mafia 3' Update Released For PlayStation 4 Pro; Update Includes Permorfance Boost And In-Game Content

A "Mafia 3" update was released for the PlayStation 4 Pro by its developers last December 2016 and no one noticed. It was an update that provides updates and some major improvements to its performance.

The PlayStation Lifestyle made a report stating the changes that were made for the "Mafia 3" game last December. The update was not announced and Hangar 13 was not able to inform the fans of the said updates.

The update is packed with improvements in the "Mafia 3" frame rates along with the addition of the new 1440p HD resolution for the PlayStation 4 Pro platform. Though the 1440p will be highly noticeable in the 4K TV's, the frame rate improvements are still applied to a non-4K TV while being locked to 1080p.

Aside from the performance and frame rate improvements, the "Mafia 3" also receives new in-game content. "Mafia 3" will now have the new Racing Mode, car customization and several new in-game contents such as missions as per the Cog Connected.

"Mafia 3" was released last year October 7th and was caught up with several issues, including low frame rates that make the game unplayable during its first 24-hours of release. Hangar 13 was able to address the issue with the release of its first "Mafia 3" update the next day and has been actively updating the game since then.

Mafia 3 is a great title with rich gameplay and has a very interesting storyline. Though the game received a handful of negative comments, the game still looks too impressive, especially in a city crime and open-world genre.
