Goo Hye Sun Says Getting Married Is Like Becoming A Child Again
Actress Goo Hye Sun shared what marriage meant for her as she and her husband Ahn Jae Hyun reveal their newlywed life to the public.
The 32-year-old star from the hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers" revealed that getting married is like becoming a child again during the press conference Wednesday for tvN's upcoming variety show "Newlyweds Diary."
The actress commented on what Na Young Suk PD could have meant when he described the newlyweds as "warm."
"I think the meaning of marriage is to become a child," allkpop quoted her as saying. "The two of us are corny and cheesy together like children but I think Na PD described that as warm. My husband becomes a kid when he's with me. He has a pure mind that I would like to to have."
The real-life version of "We Got Married" will air February 3 with a prequel broadcast Thursday.
"Aren't you starting to get a little lazy at home?" Na PD asked the 29-year-old actor of "Cinderella and Four Knights" on the broadcast, according to allkpop.
"It's great. It's really great," answered Ahn Jae Hyun.
"That's so fake. We'll have to take you to the hospital if you remain [sweet and lovely dovey] like this after half a year," said Na PD.
Then the actor surprised the PD by telling him that he and Goo Hye Sun read books to each other before they go to bed.
The couple officially registered their marriage in Seoul on May 20, 2016, and tied the knot the next day. They skipped a big wedding and a honeymoon and decided to donate their money to the Severance Hospital in Sinchon.
They were co-stars in the KBS2's 2015 series "Blood" and reportedly started dating after the drama ended. The couple's agencies confirmed their dating status only after paparazzi photos captured them on their way to Ahn Jae Hyun's apartment.
