Yoo Ah In’s Military Enlistment Postponed For The Third Time Due To Shoulder Injury
It looks like Yoo Ah In's shoulder injury continues to prevent him from doing his military enlistment.
According to UAA Entertainment, the Yoo Ah In's label, his shoulder injury was still keeping him from doing his mandatory service. He acquired the said injury sometime in 2015 while filming a movie. And after almost one year, the said injury remains a problem on the actor's military enlistment.
Yoo Ah In had his first medical checkup last December 2015 and his result was "[He] requires a 6-month period in order to observe the injured area." However, even after five months when he had his second medical examination May this year, he also failed to pass because of the very same reason. His results said that his shoulder injury still needs more time to recuperate.
And now, for the third time, his shoulder injury was still making it hard for him to do a military enlistment. He had himself checked, for the third time around, at the military affairs office in Daegu and it gives the same result. The very same injury was causing him to postpone his military enlistment again.
The result had made the Yoo Ah In's label a little sad since the actor's projects were pushed back to give way to his military enlistment. But since he cannot enlist yet, he had no choice but to wait for his reexamination date.
"Yoo Ah In has pushed back his contracts with productions as well as advertisement deals in order to enlist. But we keep hearing that "in this state, we cannot issue a call to enlistment'... At this rate, Yoo Ah In has no options to be able to enlist successfully. He has no choice but to wait for his reexamination date," his label said.
