'Madam Secretary' Season 3: McCord's Couple - Tea Leoni & Tim Daly's African Escapade, Tonya Pinkins Returns, CBS Mum On Show's Renewal
"Madam Secretary" Season 3 has long been scheduled for its most awaited return in the 2017 season. The series still has 13 episodes left that will continue to star Tea Leoni and Tim Daly as the McCord couple. However, at this point in time, the CBS network has remained silent on the future of the show, whether it will be renewed or will just die after season 3.
In a report by Gamenguide, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 is still facing a bleak future as there are no news yet for its renewal. There are no updates on production that will send signals for a sure season 4. However, it has continued to get an average viewership of 8 to 9 million viewers per episode.
According to Spoilertv, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 will return next year in January 8 for "The Race" episode and will be followed by episode 12 in January 15 titled "The Detour". The storyline of episode 12, is about Elizabeth's deal with an offer for a US development aid for Africa.
