Lee Min Ho’s Legendary Date with Lucky Fans
Hallyu star Lee Min Ho gave starstruck fans a rare opportunity by going out on a date with them.
The 29-year-old "Boys Over Flowers" heartthrob stars in Innisfree's "Someday in Jeju" virtual reality experience.
According to Koreaboo, the cosmetics company picked lucky fans from chosen Innisfree stores to experience the VR date as the fans' heartbeats are simultaneously monitored.
The 4D VR date took the lucky fans on a joyride and scenic scenes in Jeju as well as interact with the handsome actor.
Innisfree's aim for the VR zone is to "convey the clean nature and the pure energy of Jejudo, which is the core philosophy of Innisfree's brand value," according to KpopHerald.
In reality, however, Lee Min Ho is known to be dating fellow actor and Miss A's Suzy since last year.
Suzy shared with the media how their date overseas were like.
"We did what normal couples would do," International Business Times quoted the 22-year-old singer-actress as saying. "We were in London at the same time because our photo shoot schedules overlapped. We didn't do anything special, we drove and had meals."
She said that she found Lee Min Ho's warm personality attractive but did not comment on speculations of an upcoming marriage.
"We will just have to do our best, we have jobs to do, and we will try to support each other," she told Korea Bizwire, as reported by IBT.
Lee Min Ho, on the other hand, said in an interview with a leading daily that he hopes to marry his girlfriend in order to protect her.
"A man needs to protect his loved ones," IBT quoted the actor as saying.
Lee Min Ho currently stars on the SBS' series "The Legend of the Blue Sea" with another Hallyu star Jun Ji Hyun (also known as Gianna Jun).
"It has a delightful tone overall. It's a fantasy romance that will give laughter and entertainment through unexpected happenings," allkpop quoted him as saying about the drama in an interview with "Bazaar" magazine.
