Korean Star Lee Hyori To Release New Album Next Year?

The popular South Korean star, Lee Hyori, is considering to release a new album next year.

There are some reports that surfaced online regarding Lee Hyori's comeback. Many fans are anticipating the comeback of the singer and dancer after several months since the release of her previous album.

Lee Hyori is known as the "Queen of Sexy" in South Korea. She is a record producer, singer, actress and TV presenter. She was also called as the "Nation's Faory" and debuted as a member of the girl group "Fin.K.L" Her first solo album entitled "Stylish" won several awards in 2003 like the "Artist of the Year" award. She is also one of the highest paid singers in South Korea under Mnet Media Company.

According to the officials on October 13th, Lee Hyori met with the Kiwi Media Group CEO, composer and producer Kim Hyung Seok, where she allegedly signed a contract under the agency with plans to release a new album next year.

Lee Hyori went on a two-year break from her activities and her last broadcast was at SBS's Magic Eye. Some reports said that she participated as a feature in the upcoming album of Uhm Jung Hwa. It is very rare for Lee Hyori to appear as a feature on someone else's album. This only shows that she really admires Uhm Jung Hwa. Fans proved that Hyori is a fan-girl of Uhm.

However, Kiwi Media Group clarified the speculations regarding Lee Hyori's release of new album. The agency stated that when Kim Hyung Seok and Lee Hyori meet, it was only for socializing purposes and there is no exclusive contract signing and album planning was discussed.

Lee Hyori previously released the album MONOCHROME in 2013 and she has enjoyed her married life on Jeju Island with her husband Lee Sang Soon.
