'We Got Married' Couple Casted As Lead Roles For New Drama 'My Only Love Song'

A former "We Got Married" Couple was selected to play the lead roles for the newest upcoming drama entitled "My Only Love Song".

Lee Jong Hyun of CNBLUE and Gong Seung Yeon, a South Korean actress were chosen to be the main cast in the drama. The story of My Only Love Song is about a female superstar who travelled back in time after her life only focused on giving prices to people. As she travelled back in time, she met a man who values money more than anything else.

Gong Seung Yeon will play the role of Song Soojung who is a sassy superstar while Lee Jong Hyun will play the character of Ondal who is a man that only sees and cares about money but he is kind to people who have a lower status than him.

From March to August 2015, Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon already worked together as a fictional couple on the popular TV show We Got Married Season 4 in South Korea. During their appearance as a couple in the show, they both received praises and support from fans because of their good onscreen chemistry.

We Got Married is one of the most high rating TV show in South Korea which is released in 2008. The context of the show is about paring up different Korean celebrities and pretend as a couple in order for them to experience the life of a married couple. They have tasks and missions to complete every week together with some revelations of their thoughts and feelings about the show as well as their thoughts to each other through an interview.

Moreover, the two of them as a couple garnered nicknames during the airing of their episode at the Season 4 of We Got Married. Fans called them as "Honeybee Couple" and "Kkong-Lee Couple". Lots of expectations and anticipations from fans are waiting for Jong and Gong because they will reunite again after a year when their show ended.

On the other hand, according to some reports, Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim, who are also a previous fictional couple at We Got Married Season 4, will also have a reunion because they are casted in the SBS's upcoming drama "Our Gab Soon".

Meanwhile, My Only Love Song is pre-produced by FNC AddCulture which is a sub-company of FNC Entertainment. It is the very first drama to be produced by FNC AddCulture.

Furthermore, My Only Love Song is scheduled to air next year, on February 2017.
