Girls Generation joins the cast of "Better Late than Never" to remake "Gee" video.

On Sept. 6, the stars of "Better Late Than Never" collaborated with Kpop group Girls Generation to do a remake of "Gee" music video.

William Shatner, Henry Winkler, George Foreman, Jeff Dye and Terry Bradshaw flew to South Korea to know and appreciate the country's culture.

The five celebrities got together with the half of the members of Girls Generation also known as SNSD to go with the flow of Hallyu wave, All Kpop reported.

The goal was to learn the dance steps of "Gee" which is one of the country's best selling hits of the decade. It garnered consecutive wins on Music Bank and Mnet's chart. MelOn named the track as "Song of the Decade."

The 2009 Song of the Year was rewritten by Kanata Nakamura and was released in Japan in 2010 and landed on number one position on several Japanese music charts.

The video of the bubblegum pop track has over 167 million views on YouTube.

The NBC stars were astounded when they realized that the crowd cheers were not for them but instead for Yuri, Sunny, Tiffany and Hyeyeon.

In an attempt to follow the dance steps of the Kpop song, the grandpas ended up dancing to the tune of Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" instead.

A new music video for "Gee" is revealed on the program showing clips of the American celebrities learning the Kpop way of jiving. The video was uploaded in YouTube on Sept. 1 and it has already reached more than a hundred thousand views to date.

"Better Late Than Never" is inspired by South Korean program "Grandpa Over Flowers" where the casts fly to different countries to discover and explore culture.

The latest episode "Seoul Brothers" also covers the country's technology, nightlife, delicacies and the borders separating the North and South, Billboard reported.
