On September 5, SM Entertainment's girl group f(x) celebrated their 7th year anniversary and the members took to social media to thank their fans called MeU for the continued and unending support for the group.

Soompi reported that member Krystal expressed her love and thanks to all their fans through a message that was posted on the group's official homepage.

The letter reads, "MeU, have you been doing well? It has been too long, right? I do not know how many times I have erased and rewritten this. I am embarrassed and apologetic because I feel like I am saying the same things for the seventh year in a row. I will always feel thankful towards you all who have consistently loved and supported me regardless of the many things that happened over the last seven years."

Krystal ends her letter by saying, "I promise to repay fans the amount of love [you have given us until now]."

Another f(x) member, Amber, posted a screenshot of a photo of the members looking emotional after winning on "M!Countdown" during their "4 Walls" promotions to her Instagram account. The caption of the photo reads, "Lucky 7! Always thankful to all the MeUs out there who have always had our backs. But on the real, though...We are getting old XD. Never gonna stop the grind and always gonna work hard for all you guys!!!"

Amber also tweeted a lot of purple hearts saying, "I love this color." Purple is the official color of f(x)'s fan club.

SM Entertainment debuted the group in 2009 and has then released four full-length albums, two extended plays, and one repackaged album. The group has also been known for their experimental style and eclectic, electropop-based sound. Their second album entitled "Pink Tape" was the only K-Pop album on US music channel Fuse's "41 Best Albums of 2013."

Congratulations and happy anniversary, f(x) and MeUs!
