SM and JYP Entertainment Collaborates For MV Teaser of 'Born to be Wild'

SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment collaborate in the new SM Station for the making of "Born to be Wild" MV Teaser.

The unexpected collaboration between SM's Lee Soo Man and JYP's J.Y. Park who are the owners of the two most influential companies in the Korean Entertainment industry greatly surprised the K-pop fans around the world when the MV teaser is released.

JYP Entertainment is a South Korean record label and talent agency founded by Park Jin-young based in Seoul, South Korea. The company also operates as a music production, event management, and concert production company. It produced popular and successful artists including the Wonder Girls, 2AM, 2PM, Miss A, Baek A-yeon, 15&, JJ Project, Sunmi, GOT7, HA:TFELT, Bernard Park, G.Soul, DAY6 and Twice, and formerly to artists like Park Ji-yoon, god, and Rain.

While S.M. Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company founded by Lee Soo-man. The company operates as a talent agency, record label, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. Some of its successful and popular artists are BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, and formerly to pioneering groups H.O.T., S.E.S., Fly to the Sky, and Shinhwa. It also manages a number of actors, including Kim Ian, Go Ara, and Lee Yeon-hee.

It is the first time in history where SM and JYP Entertainment made collaboration.

The MV entitled "Born to be Wild" featured artists from SM and JYP Entertainment namely; Girls' Generation' Hyoyeon, 2am's Jokwon and J.Y Park, and Miss A's Min.

According to the two companies, the new music video promises to give a challenging and unique beat. It also urges the excitement and wildness to the viewers as the summer season ends in South Korea.

Furthermore, the special collaboration of SM and JYP Entertainment will be released on August 26th. It will also be available on local music portals in South Korea and international music portals such as Spotify, Google Play, Apple Music and iTunes.
