Mariah Carey to Guest on ‘Empire’ Season 3 with a Twist
The pop superstar Mariah Carey has signed to be the guest star on the TV series 'Empire'. On Monday, Fox announced that it has been confirmed that Carey will be a guest star and will be playing a different role.
According to the network, Carey will play the role of Kitty, "a mega-superstar who comes to Empire and collaborate with Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollet) on an explosive new song." When the duet encounters obstacles, Kitty "helps Jamal dig deep to overcome personal difficulties and reach a musical breakthrough."
Maria Carey also has an upcoming docuseries "Mariah's World" that will broadcast her Sweet Sweet Fancy concert tour, her personal life, and the other events that she do. One TV critic insisted on talking about her experience 3 years ago as a judge on Fox singing competition series. "Ugh! It was the most the most abusive experience!" she groaned. Furthermore, she also said that she needs a festive moment and ends the interview.
The episode of Carey in Empire airs on October 5 and she said that Kitty will share at least one shade-throwing scene with Jamal's mom, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).
