Rockstar Drops 'GTA 6' Gameplay Video; Release Date Now Rumored To Be In 2018
The latest rumors regarding "GTA 6's" release date indicate that it may arrive sometime in 2018.
According to Yibada, the game's supposed 2018 release date will be sufficient time for the game developers to work on the game. If true, it will be five years after the release of "GTA 5."
There are also rumors that real-life couple Ryan Gosling ("Drive") and Eva Mendes ("Place Beyond The Pines") in involved with the project in some capacity.
If it happens, it is likely that Mendes will play "GTA 6's" female protagonist which will be the first for the franchise.
Rockstar co-founder and vice president Dan Houser had previously expressed his interest in having a female lead in one of their games.
"We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about," Houser told The Guardian. "It didn't feel natural for this game [GTA V] but definitely for the right game in the future - with the right themes. It could be fantastic."
Meanwhile, a Reddit user claimed that the forthcoming installment will feature all of the previous installments' maps to create one big map - the biggest of the franchise.
Gaming fans also listed down the improvements they want to see in the new game. Players complained that police are quick to be overpowered and easy to evade.
Gamers suggest that developers up the difficulty level in order to make the game more challenging. Others suggested that users can choose to be cops, especially online, so that they can apprehend criminals or kill them.
Furthermore, gamers want more buildings where their characters can enter and relax.
