Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth Wedding Update: Babies Prioritized Over Getting Married?
"The Bachelorette" reality stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are so busy planning a family that it has overtaken their wedding plans.
Speaking to People, Kaitlyn Bristowe said, "The idea of family is more exciting to us than planning a wedding."
"We know we're going to get married, but we're really pumped to start a family! I don't feel like there is a specific order we have to go in," Bristowe added.
Shawn Booth was also quoted as saying that they, as a couple, are "more excited about having kids than actually getting married."
Booth reportedly wants to have five children with Bristowe, while she wants four.
However, they are open to having just one child. They already have a golden retriever named Tucker as their first baby.
Brides said they were sharing in the anticipation from fans of the wedding between Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe.
"We've been waiting patiently - okay, perhaps not so patiently - for these two reality TV sweethearts to tie the knot," the site said.
Brides quoted Kaitlyn Bristowe as saying that she and Shawn Booth were "bad at planning."
The wedding could possibly be televised, similar to the nuptials between Tanner and Jade from "Bachelor in Paradise."
She Knows recently posted that the two had been spotted moving in together, which fanned speculations that plans were already underway for the wedding.
"They now live together in Nashville, Tennessee, and, aside from a few occasional spats about globs of toothpaste in the sink, they get along famously. They plan to enjoy living together for some time before they start to worry about planning for their big day," the post said.
The couple is being seen as a lucky pair, with fans usually looking forward to breakups occurring between each season's eligible "Bachelor" or "Bachelorette."
Fans of the couple recently caught up with them as they were spotted at Jade and Tanner's "Bachelor in Paradise" wedding, Entertainment Tonight reported.
