The spoilers for the upcoming action-adventure movie, "Assassin's Creed," suggest that the lead character, Callum Lynch will utilize the memory tracing device, Animus to dig out his past.

Michael Fassbender, who will play Callum's role in the new film recently revealed some details about the storyline for the action game-based movie.

Fassbender said that in the upcoming movie his character, Lynch will try to access details of his lineage and access to his ancestor, Aguilar's memory through a device called, Animus.

"This idea of DNA memory elevates it from a basic fantasy genre [piece] because you have something an audience can actually believe in," Michael told Empire Magazine. "Then the journey becomes so much more elevated because you're on board in a different way."

Besides, the 38-year-old actor also claimed that the action movie has many similarities with the sci-fi film, "The Matrix," based on the concept of memory mapping.

Also, the spoilers for the "Assassin's Creed" movie suggested that Callum will utilize the device to harness powers of his Master Assassin, reported  Movie News Guide.

Moreover, there are speculations that the new movie will showcase action sequences and difficulty levels similar to that of the "Assassin's Creed" game.

Furthermore, the movie content head, Aymar Azaizia recently posted spoilers on his social media account from the upcoming game-based flick.

"It's possible you may find some familiar faces despite the absence of Altair, Ezio and Connor," tweeted Azaizia as reported by Christian Examiner. "We share the same universe. Elements of the film have consequences, as in our games, comics, and books."

Moreover, Azaizia also revealed that the upcoming flick will feature a well-crafted storyline which will keep the audiences in line with the game plot and thus engrossed with the plot of the movie.

The movie will also feature Jeremy Irons, Callum Turner, Marion Cotillard, Brendan Gleeson and Michael Williams.

The "Assassin's Creed" movie is set to be released on Dec. 21, 2016.
