Tom Cruise's 'Bloated' Jawline Result Of Facial Fat Transfer To Look Younger For 'Mission Impossible 6'?
Many have noticed a slight difference in Tom Cruise's looks when he attended the British Academy Film Awards or BAFTAs recently. Did the mission "Mission: Impossible" star undergo a cosmetic surgery leading to the purported change in the appearance of his face?
"After years as the standard bearer of male beauty in Hollywood, the 53-year-old leading man set social media ablaze when he showed up to the BAFTAs in London without his sharp jawline," NY Post reported about the "Mission: Impossible 6" star.
"A flurry of Tweets ensued, describing Cruise's formerly lean visage as 'inflated,' 'bloated,' and 'frozen,' with many suggesting that he had a botched cosmetic procedure. Risky business, that," the report continued.
"Or maybe, just maybe, it's a case of a handsome man's age finally catching up with him."
Some believe that Tom Cruise's rounder jawline could be a result of a cosmetic surgery as he is slated to star in "Mission: Impossible 6."
"Paramount now wants to shoot Mission: Impossible 6 during summer 2016 for release in 2017," The Hollywood Reported previously wrote. "Probably in June or July. Adds Rentrak analyst Paul Dergarabedian of Cruise, 'He will capitalize on this and so will the studios, who will all want to continue to work with him.'"
According to earlier reports, Tom Cruise purportedly tries his best to look the way he did in 1996, when the original "Mission: Impossible" was released.
"Though he has always had an ageless quality, Tom is now making a big effort to look young," Life & Style previously reported, as quoted by Celeb Dirty Laundry in an article last year.
"One source believes that he could have shelled out over $50,000 to have his own fat harvested and injected in to his face. The results are good, but not quite natural looking."
Tom Cruise's camp is yet to comment on the somewhat different appearance of his jaw during BAFTAs. Meanwhile, the actor is believed to be preparing for the filming of "Mission: Impossible 6" which is slated to begin later this year.
