Conor McGregor Is An Easy Fight Says Eddie Alvarez, Rafael Dos Anjos Will Be Tougher
Conor McGregor vs. Rafael Dos Anjos fight in UFC 196 is one of the biggest MMA events early this year.
One is trying to climb in weight class while the other is trying to prove he is still the king of his division.
The Irish man is out to prove that he can take on anyone. He made it clear that he wants to win a belt in every weightclass possible. However, one MMA fighter is not that sold on him. In fact, he is seen by this artist as the "weaker" one compared to Dos Anjos.
"I would want McGregor because it's more money and a simpler fight," Eddie Alvarez, who could be in line to fight the winner of the Conor McGregor - Rafael Dos Anjos clash, told Inside MMA.
"He's the easy guy and more money. Dos Anjos is a bigger challenge. To me, he's the better fighter. In a perfect world, I'm fighting dos Anjos in June, or July, for the world title."
Just like McGregor, Alvarez is not the type to mince his words against anyone. The former Bellator Lightweight Champion said he devised a tactic on how to beat McGregor who just last December recorded an impressive 13-second victory vs Jose Aldo.
"For me, it's a very simple fight for RDA to win, but he needs to implement a ground attack," Alvarez said in the latest edition of The MMA Hour. "If he don't, I honestly feel like he can get knocked out, just like the other guys Conor was able to knock out. But he can't allow it to be mostly of a striking."
Alvarez can only hope for the controversial Irishman to win vs Rafael Dos Anjos to be able to prove his strategy.
Conor McGregor - Rafael Dos Anjos fight is on March 5 for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
Also in the event is return to the octagon of Holly Holm who will fight Miesha Tate. Winner of this bout will reportedly fight Ronda Rousey who Holm defeated last November.
