'One Punch Man' Season 2 Release Date Delayed Until 2017? To Feature Clash Between Saitama And Amai Mask?

The latest speculations for the upcoming "One Punch Man" tease the possibility that the release date for the season 2 of the series has been pushed back due to the dearth of material and information.

Even though creator, Yusuke Murata, confirmed that the release date for the second season of the anime will soon be announced, there are rumors that the creative works for the manga chapter are lagging behind, without which the new episodes will be difficult to be filmed.

"It might take 1 or 2 years to create all the sketches and inks needed for season 2 to hit television successfully," speculated Otakukart. "The outlet goes on to explain that the team will need to come up with 100 sketches, 100 inked pages, 100 storyboards, and 10 hours of editing per day."

Crossmap, on the other hand, reported that there are speculations that there are few manga chapters in existence for the directors to film around 12 episodes of the season 2 of the anime series.

With all the release date speculations trolling all over the internet, spoilers for the season 2 of "One Punch Man" tease a fierce battle between Saitama and Amai Mask, who is Class A, rank one hero.

Ecumenical News reported that the season 2 of the anime series will follow the Hero Hunter story arc, which will showcase the emergence of Garou, the most powerful villain the anime series has ever witnessed. 

It is also rumored that Garou will heat up many battles in the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man."

It is also rumored that Garou will try to knock down Saitama in the new season and become the most dreadful antagonist, claimed Movie News Guide.

There are speculations that both Saitama and Garou will be showcased with similar abilities and thus would make the combat even more interesting.

Additional spoilers for the "One Punch Man" anime suggested that season 2 will be a sequel to the earlier season and will continue immediately after the fight between Saitama and Lord Boros.
