Nintendo Opens Pre-Registration For First Smartphone Game 'Miitomo'

Good news for all Nintendo game fanatics out there: its first ever smartphone game is said to be up for grabs very soon as the Japanese company releases it this coming March.

After the said announcement of the anticipated mobile game "Miitomo," several fans were quite curious already on how to download the said game on their phones.

As an answer of Nintendo to their followers' request, the company just recently opened a pre-registration process for the gamers to be notified if the first smartphone game is already available for download during its release next month.

"Preregistration doesn't end until 'Miitomo' launches, but Nintendo is trying to heighten interest by doling out Platinum Points for its upcoming My Nintendo reward service to early devotees," Time reported.

"All you need do is visit miitomo.com and sign up for a Nintendo Account (it's free), which is the company's new multi-platform service that'll connect to and drive all of its forthcoming platforms and services," the source added.

Nintendo's upcoming smartphone game is reported to be very interactive. "Miitomo" will allow its players to create their own avatar and make some conversations with other players who also have their own Mii avatars.

According to BGR , "Miitomo will allow users to make a custom Mii - the characters that debuted on the Wii - by either choosing from a library of facial features or simply taking a picture of their face with the smartphone camera.

"Once the Mii has been created, it will ask you and other users questions in order to get to know you better." the source above added.

The source also mentioned that "the app will also allow users to customize their Mii creations with costumes and clothes. These are acquired by spending Miitomo coins, which can be earned by playing or by spending actual money."

Nintendo is excited for its fans to experience its first ever smartphone game. Stay tuned for more news after its release.
