'Transformers 5' Robots Will Be Divided Into Two Worlds? New Trilogy On The Way?
"Transformers 5" is reportedly actively gearing up.
And while details to the upcoming sequel have been scarce, there have been rumors claiming that the robots of the upcoming sequel will be divided into two worlds.
According to the YouTube report of IGN, "Transformers 5" will feature two stories with one featuring the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager. And the other will see Optimus Prime's journey in space as he tries to talk to their creators, Quintessons.
Additionally, MovieWeb claimed that fans could expect more robots once "Transformers 5" hit theaters.
The said new robots will include Blitzwing, Scourge, Cyclonus, Override and Red Alert.
Ultra Magnus will also be introduced in "Transformers 5" as the new leader of the Autobots after Optimus Prime decided to leave Earth.
And while all these information is still vague, Enstarz claimed that "Transformers 5" is actually an introduction to a new trilogy.
Hasbro's president Stephen J. Davis revealed how the franchise will move forward following "Transformers: Age of Extinction."
"You're going to see a new 'Transformers' movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," he explained.
"In fact, we just finished - as some of you may have read - an incredible experience. We decided we wanted to plot out the next 10 years of the Transformers franchise, so we got together in a 3 month period of time...nine of most creative writers I have ever worked with - shepherded by Akiva Goldsman, who many of you know won an Academy Award for 'A Beautiful Mind,' and written a bunch of great movies. And they plotted out next ten years of Transformers. Similarly we are doing the same in television and digital. So stay tuned 'Transformers 5' is on its way. ...And 6 and 7 and 8."
