Starbucks Customers Petition For Rare Beans In New Limited Edition Lattes On Menu To Be Permanent?

World's famous coffee shop Starbucks is keeping its consumers warm with two new limited variety of lattes in the menu.

Various reports said that coffee lovers all over US and Canada who tasted already the new beverages namely, "Starbucks Smoked Butterscotch Latte" and "Starbucks Teavana Citrus Green Tea Latte" were requesting for it to be served nationwide longer than it's service span.

The new beverages are actually inspired from the lattes that were offered last fall at the Starbucks Reserve Roaster and Tasting Room, a Starbucks coffee tasting room in Seattle that serves rare coffee beans exclusively for the shop, as noted by Bustle.

"Both drinks will be available starting Feb. 16, and will stick around stores through March 21, meaning you have plenty of time to give them both a whirl before the limited edition beverages go the way of the Starbucks Birthday Cake Frappucino," the source above added.

"Of course, if you end up being a huge fan of the SBL (and how could you not?), you can trek over to the Seattle Starbucks Reserve Roastery, where it's a part of the regular menu," the source continued.

Meanwhile, reports suggested that the "Starbucks Smoked Butterscotch Latte" and "Starbucks Teavana Citrus Green Tea Latte" are beverages on the menu that the consumers wouldn't expect.

"The smoked butterscotch latte is a typical latte mixed with smoked butterscotch sauce and topped with and smoky butterscotch sugar. Taste-wise, it starts off with a distinct smoky flavor, but that eventually eases into a sweet butterscotch taste-though thankfully, it's not sickeningly sweet," Delish reported.

The source above also gave a description of the new green tea latte, "The citrus green tea latte is a play on the regular green tea latte, which has been around since 2007. It combines green tea with citrus mint syrup, tops it with steamed milk and then adds a citrus-lemon note.

"It has the distinct nostalgic smell of Froot Loops in milk, but it sadly doesn't taste like cereal. Instead, it tastes like earthy, creamy matcha combined with the zing of lemon," the source added.

Though several reports said that the new lattes are for keeps, Starbucks has no word still if the new beverages would stick longer on the menu longer than expected.
