'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date All Set? Tetsuya Nomura Talks About Returning Characters
Fans have been clamoring to hear news about Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date.
And while an exact date hasn't been set yet, many speculations are pointing that the highly-anticipated title will most likely be made available next year.
Gospel Herald is confident that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will hit the shelves next year following the release of "Final Fantasy XV."
"Many were pointing to 2016 as the year that Kingdom Hearts III would finally be out," the publication claimed. "The issue with that is there has been less news of 'Kingdom Hearts III' compared to 'Final Fantasy 15.'"
The publication also mentioned that Design & Trend has already confirmed that the game will not be coming this year.
"A recent report from Design and Trend has stated that its release date might not appear until 2017, and possibly late in that year," the site noted.
However, it also quoted Realty Today claiming that the game is actually already listed in Amazon's listing for pre-order.
"There is a report on Realty Today that the Amazon listing of the Kingdom Hearts III game for the Xbox One and PS4 is available for pre-order, and it says that it will ship by Dec. 31, 2016."
And while fans are still waiting for an official release date for the highly-anticipated game, director Tetsuya Nomura shared details of its upcoming characters.
Apparently, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be featuring returning characters, Design&Trend reported.
"I'm sure there are fans who are aware of its identity already," Nomura said of the villain, which appeared in the non-descript trailer.
Meanwhile, Master Herald claimed the returning character Nomura is talking about, has actually been introduced in the game in 2002.
"Those characters come from Disney and Square Enix studios and have been the talk of the town over the last ten plus years," the publication claimed. "If you have not played the game, you can expect to see characters like Sora, Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy and all of the voices that go along with them."
