'Food Network' Star Giada De Laurentiis Rekindles Romance With Ex-Husband Todd Thompson Following Divorce
The "Food Network" star Giada De Laurentiis maybe rekindling romance with her ex-husband Todd Thompson after being divorced for quite a while. Are the ex-couple getting back together right before our eyes?
According to new reports, the two have been spending time together more often than not with their 7-year old daughter Jade. The two got divorced after being married for 11 years.
E! Online revealed that the ex-couple took Jade at the Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California to ride swing and roller coaster together! De Laurentiis has even shared a photo collage on Instagram of her family enjoying their day out.
"#mommymoments @knottsberryfarm @toddmthompson," the celebrity chef wrote alongside her collage.
The ex-couple got divorced in December and it has been revealed by TMZ that the celebrity chef had to pay the consequences which comes with the divorce as they have not signed a prenup agreement.
"Because there was no prenup, Giada must give Todd 50% of the unpaid advances to various cookbooks that are in the works," TMZ reported. "Including a $2.5 million balance for Giada at Home/Weeknights with Giada, $2.3 million for Giada Feel Good Food, and $757,000 for Everyday Pasta/Giada's Kitchen."
De Laurentiis has announced her separation from Thompson on Facebook.
"Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths," she wrote on her Facebook account. "Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything."
E! Online reported months ago that De Laurentiis has been dating Bobby Flay. An insider claimed that the chefs have been spotted having a romantic dinner together at a restaurant.
"Back in December, Giada had dinner at Bellato with her agent. Bobby Flay was also having dinner with some friends and dropped by Giada's table to say hi," her rep told E! Online. "They did not have dinner, nor was there any touching going on."
Reports claimed that Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson could rekindle their romance as they reportedly want to give their marriage another chance for their daughter.
