‘The Legend of Zelda’ Wii U Release Date, Features, Update: Leaked Trailer Accidentally Reveals Debut Day?
“The Legend of Zelda” Wii U release date has not yet been officially announced by Nintendo, but apparently, a leaked trailer of the highly anticipated game may have unwittingly revealed when fans can finally play the Wii version.
Gamer Professional reported that a leaked video entitled “First Draft” was sent to them, and it was reportedly legitimate. Apparently, it was created as a promotional video meant to impact parents for the upcoming Nintendo “big event.” As parents grew up playing “Legend of Zelda,” it was reported that the company wants to help establish a stronger parent-child relationship through the Wii version.
Fans were baffled at first when Nintendo announced that no "Legend of Zelda" update will be revealed during the E3 2015 event. Apparently, the leaked video could have been the reason for the company's hesitation.
But, MobiPicker revealed that “The Legend of Zelda” Wii U release date was going to be on March 4, 2016. Aside from being available in the latest console, it is reported that better features and upgrades from the 2006 version will be added.
It was reported that the graphics of the new Zelda game will be much better than the original. What more, reports have stated that a new Hero Mode will be unveiled. Collectible stamps, a Wolf Link amiibo, and several minor features were also reportedly added.
This is not the first time a release date was reported for the Wii version of the game. Inquistr wrote it was initially thought that Nintendo will be debuting “The Legend of Zelda” on its latest console last year. Of course, fans will still be itching to see an official trailer.
“The Legend of Zelda” Wii U release date may still be a month away, but with the building anticipation of fans, hopefully Nintendo gives in and debuts the game earlier than expected.
