Floyd Mayweather Jr. Will Un-Retire, Fight Again And Break Record, Hints Pro Boxer
Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s retirement is seemed abrupt by many.
The American boxer walked away from the sport shortly after his win versus Andre Berto in September last year.
He ended his career with a 49-0 Win-Loss card to match the 40-year record of Rocky Marciano.
He has been firm with his decision on his latest media appearances. Still, he is hounded by rumors that he is not really retired and that he will fight again to break the current record.
This is the view of boxing fans and critics alike.
Welterweight champ Shawn Porter has the same sentiment. He also hinted that there are already talks to prepare Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his return.
"I don't think he's retired," he told On The Ropes Boxing.
"I've heard things about him coming back once more, but only once more. He's tied the record and he's trying to break the record, but at the same time, I think he's gonna watch this fight and whatever happens between Keith and me, and if he feels like he can beat one of us, he'll come back. I think if he doesn't feel like he can beat one of us, he won't come back. We'll see what happens, I feel like March 12th is a very deciding factor for not only the rest of 2016 but also the years to come."

Many are not convinced with Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s retirement. However, in a recent interview, the American champion made it known that he will not return. In fact, he does not miss the sport.
Mayweather Jr. also revealed that he was offered a nine-figure amount of money to fight again but he declined it.
"It's been crazy numbers that's been thrown at me of course, nine figures," he told BBC World Service Sport.
"You know, I've had money thrown at me from so many different countries... If I get the itch to come back, it really won't be for the money but I'll have to get paid, that's why the nickname is Floyd "Money" Mayweather."
