Courteney Cox And Matt LeBlanc Already Had A Mini Reunion; Lisa Kudrow Recalls Filming 'Friends'
The phenomenal hit TV series "Friends" has been making headlines once again as fans have been debating if there is a reunion movie or none at all. However, Matt Le Blanc and Courteney Cox already had a mini reunion of their own as they hosted the 2016 WGA Awards Saturday.
The co-stars presented the Writers Guild of America's Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement to Friends co-creators Marta Kauffman, who also co-created Netflix's Grace and Frankie, and David Crane, a co-creator of Showtime's Episodes according to E! Online.
Weeks ago, the said co-stars have made headlines as the news break out that they have been secretly seeing each other after they split with their partners.
The cast of "Friends" have also honored their director James Burrows as he had directed his 1,000th television episode. Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc attended the tribute. However, Matthew Perry was working in play rehearsals in London, which is why he was not able to attend the occasion.
"We wish he was here. Matty, we miss you," LeBlanc says in the short video.
E! Online has recently reported that the cast of "Friends" have reunited for Jim Burrows together leaving Matthew Perry missing the almost-reunited cast members.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers that we will forever remember," Aniston said. "And had some of the greatest creativity—We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience with the world loving us as well, they connected with us."
Burrows directed the hit TV series for 10 years with 10 season of more than 20 episodes on each sequel.
"He really encouraged us to get along, get to know one another," LeBlanc said. "And be kind to one another, support one another, watch one another and help one another."
Kudrow also shared how Burrows treated them very nicely which helped them get along.
"He gave us his dressing room, because it was big and it should have been, that's fine," Kudrow recalled, Today.com quoted. "I think it was unspoken but we instinctively felt like we need to be friends, we need get along, we need to connect. So we started playing poker and Jimmy gave us his room so we could have a bigger hangout room for us."
Meanwhile, a trailer for the said reunion special has been released. YouTube users have been debating in the comments section of the trailer video if there will be a movie.
Aside from the upcoming "Friends" reunion special, fans are also looking into Courteney Cox and Matt Le Blanc's rumored romantic relationship.
