‘Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia’ Rumors, Release Date, Updates: Bethesda Naming The Sequel ‘Skyrim 2’

“Elder Scrolls 6” rumors have been circulating on the Internet for months now, and while there has been no exact release date provided, several sites are certain Bethesda will be coming up with the sequel anytime soon.

According to Telegraph UK, the Vice President of Bethesda Softworks’ PR and Marketing, Pete Hines, had reportedly talked about the possibility of an “Elder Scrolls” part two during the E3 2015 event.

While games such as “Doom," “Dishonored 2," and “Fallout 4” took the center stage, Hines did not hesitate to announce “Elder Scrolls: Skyrim” sequel is in the works.

“We’re not the sort of publisher that focusses on 'what’s our 25 titles for 2015’. We do smaller stuff, we don’t publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy,” Hines explained as to why there is still no exact details about the alleged “Skyrim 2”.

Neurogadget reported that after Hines’ confirmation, many fans speculated that the “Elder Scrolls 6” can be titled “Argonia.”

Additionally, the Neurogadget report explained “Skyrim” permeated most discussions about the game because most have considered it as a standalone game. It was reported to have grown in popularity that focusing the plot to its predecessor will make highly anticipated by mainstream gamers.

Inquisitr added that “Elder Scrolls 6” may have an earlier release date that due to a few issues with Bethesda’s “Battlecry," the studio will be working on multiple projects. This statement was very different from their initial announcement during the E3 2015 event but it was a reassurance for the fans the sequel will be coming out sooner than expected.

“Elder Scrolls 6” is rumored to have a 2017 release date, but whether it will be called “Argonia” or “Skyrim 2," fans would have to wait for further announcement.
