Khloe Kardashian and James Harden's split just might have been influenced by Lamar Odom. A report from OK! detailed the insights of relationship expert James Preece, who analyzed the controversial relationships of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star with her former beau and her estranged husband.

"Khloe was blaming herself partly for Lamar's destructive behavior," he said. "She wants to be there to support him while he in recovery as she clearly has strong feelings for him still."

"She also wants to protect herself from having a similar experience in the future. Khloe has made it clear that, although she disagrees with what happened with Lamar, she will stand by him but that's not to say that she would be willing to do this for someone else," the relationship expert added.

The obvious closeness between Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian seemingly made James Harden realize where he really stood in their relationship.

"It was obvious to him that he would always be second best to Lamar," the source said.

Aside from still caring for Lamar Odom, the "Kocktails With Khloe" star also allegedly understood that her relationship with the Houston Rockets shooting guard will not last.

"Khloe finally realized that James was unlikely to commit to her completely," James Preece said. "She is much more mature than him, so she ultimately made the decision to end things."

"The vast difference in both attitude and age would have been hard to overcome so it was the right thing to do," he added.

Hollywood Life previously reported about an eyewitness account shared by Star, which how Khloe Kardashian was two-timed by James Harden. The NBA star was allegedly caught flirting with another girl while at the Ace of Diamonds strip club in West Hollywood last month.
