WWE Wrestlemania 32 Rumors: The Rock And Ronda Rousey Return To The Ring Of Wrestling Main Event?
Fans of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ronda Rousey may be seeing more of the duo at this year's Wrestlemania 32, as rumors have it the two would return to the major WWE event.
Maxim.com wrote that the duo were being tapped to play roles in the main event match between Triple H and Roman Reigns.
"The duo could join Reigns in his corner with Stephanie and Vince McMahon in the corner of Triple H," Maxim said.
Ecumenical News said that The Rock and Vince McMahon would be going head to head, with "The Expendables 3" actress and Stephanie as their respective tag team partners.
Maxim added that there were rumors that WWE executives have been trying to get the two fighters turned Hollywood actors into the ring, but the two were "contractually unable to complete" even in an event as large as Wrestlemania.
On the other hand, What Culture believes that with the "Furious 7" actor indisposed to be fighting inside the ring, he could be one of the guest referees of one of the main events instead.
The rumors about The Rock and Ronda Rousey joining WWE's WrestleMania 32 may have some bearing as they made an appearance at last year event, when they interrupted The Authority during one segment.
Triple H and wife Stephanie McMahon were on stage and said the Authority owned everyone, the WWE wrestlers and audience included. The Rock suddenly appeared and called out the couple, which led to Stephanie slapping The Rock. The Brahma Bull then backed down as he appeared unable to hit a woman even after being taunted.
Ronda, who was standing at the sidelines, eventually went on-stage and lay the smack down on the Authority.
Meanwhile, several names are coming up as the replacement for John Cena, who will no longer fight The Undertaker because of an injury, Ecumenical News reported.
According to WWE WrestleManie 32 rumors, the names include Braun Strowman, Sting and Kevin Owens.
Aside from the said events, rumors also have it that "other wrestlers said to join in the roster in April are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Christopher Daniels, Bill Goldberg, Albert Del Rio and Deane Ambrose," Ecumenical News added.
