Leah Block reportedly told "The Bachelor" 2016 star's Ben Higgins that Lauren Bushnell was basically faking her personality for the business analyst.

That really threw Ben Higgins for a loop and he admitted as much in a blog post for People.

"Her telling me that Lauren B. was not who I thought she was another game-changer. It felt like Mexico City with Emily and Olivia all over again. Was anyone here being honest?! Was I just being duped by a bunch of great actresses?! I really started to question everything," he wrote.

"Lauren B.'s reaction was what I hoped it would be though," he added. "Lauren was bewildered that anyone could think that about her, and I could tell she was truly hurt by it. I feel like if I had someone say something like that to me I would react the same way and that meant something to me."

Meanwhile, "The Bachelor" 2016 star Ben Higgins did something that nobody has done before and that's to tell the two finalists that he loves both of them before the final rose ceremony.

That was why when one of them was rejected by Higgins at the finale of "The Bachelor" 2016, she felt completely "blindsided."

The source told Us Weekly that when he said the words to both women, he immediately regretted that decision.

"He realized the inevitability of what was going to happen: needing to send one home in the end," the source added.

"Ben tells her that he truly does love her. He says those weren't just words. That was the most important thing he had to do: Tell her that as much of a mistake as it had been to say 'I love you,' he did mean it," the source added.

But the finalist sent home during "The Bachelor" 2016 finale did not take comfort in Ben Higgins' words as she was absolutely "devastated."
