Lamar Odom News: ‘Kanye’s Music Saved Me!’ Joins Ex Khloe Kardashian In New York Trip
Kanye West's music reportedly saved Lamar Odom from death after his reported overdose, according to a TMZ news article.
Sources told the site that Lamar Odom, who was found unconscious inside a Las Vegas brothel last year, was nursed back from a coma with the help of lyrics from rough cuts of Kanye's music.
TMZ said Odom's trip to New York was in gratitude to Kanye's support throughout his recovery from a coma after the incident.
"Sources close to Lamar tell us when he was in Cedars-Sinai hospital ... Kanye religiously showed up to visit and frequently played rough cuts of his new music for Lamar," TMZ wrote.
"He started remembering specific lyrics, which was one of the early signs LO's condition was improving."
The news comes amid reports that Odom and ex Khloe Kardashian were spotted leaving LA for New York to join the rest of the family in New York for Kanye's Yeezy Season 3 fashion event and album launch at the Madison Square Garden.
"Lamar Odom's miraculous recovery is going so well ... he was able to board a private jet with still-wife Khloe Kardashian," TMZ wrote in an earlier article.
The Daily Mail also posted its take on the former couple's flight to New York together.
In an article, the Daily Mail said the "Kocktails with Khloe" reality star was fussin over the former NBA player and handled his baggage as he stayed close.
The Dailly Mail also chronicled Lamar Odom's recovery from his October 2015 near death experience, with the latest news including his release from the hospital and entry into rehab last month, as well as a "healthy hike" he took with Khloe and sister Kim in Los Angeles.
E! News earlier revealed that Lamar Odom continued his recovery at a private rehab facility since the incident that caused him to lapse into coma.
Toxicology reports found drugs and alcohol in his system, and the former athlete suffered several strokes throughout his recovery at the hospital.
Khloe Kardashian also reportedly had a premonition regarding her former husband's death, People.com shared.
"When my ex, he just had an accident, and the morning of, I was driving, and I told my mom, 'I have a feeling,' I just had a visual I was planning Lamar's funeral," Khloe was quoted as saying.
