Nick Young And Iggy Azalea’s Wedding Too Extravagant? Will Rapper Pay For Everything?
Nick Young and Iggy Azalea's wedding is drawing closer and it seems that the Aussie rapper wants everything to be fancy.
The "Black Widow" hitmaker has been sharing certain information about the big day, including her preference for a "traditional" wedding dress and having a string quartet playing during the ceremony.
However, recent reports suggested that the pop star wants way more than those things.
"She is insisting on not one, but two weddings," The Indian Express supposedly quoted an anonymous source as saying. "[And] she wants more than 20 bejewelled white horses and a $100,000 firework display at both."
According to a video posted by TMZ, however, the NBA basketball star isn't too keen on having an extravagant wedding. Iggy Azalea and Nick Young seem to be in contrast to the amount of money that they want to spend for their big day.
Young reportedly wanted to just get married at the courthouse and be "financially responsible." On the other hand, his wife-to-be sees his sentiments as something else entirely.
"He doesn't wanna pay for sh-," she quipped.
The site further noted that the couple would have to shell out more than the average wedding cost of $31,213 that The Knot reported for 2014.
When the "Fancy" rapper asked about this in another TMZ video, she coolly answered that she would be "dipping" into her pool full of money for anything extra that she wanted for the wedding.
"You gotta give yourself what you want," she pointed out.
If The Indian Express' report is true, then the $31 thousand budget wouldn't even be enough to cover for the firework display that she allegedly wanted.
Meanwhile, the exact date for the wedding hasn't been revealed to the public yet. Based on the various hints that the pair have been dropping, it seems that the special days is almost here.
However, Iggy Azalea and Nick Young aren't keen on starting a family of their own right away.
In Touch Weekly noted that when the 25-year-old rapper was asked if she wants to have kids after marrying her beau, she laughingly answered, "I hope not!"
She reportedly has "too much stuff to do" and plans to have kids when she's 30.
