‘Star Wars’ Actors John Boyega And Daisy Ridley At War? Dating Rumors Impossible As They Fought During ‘The Force Awakens’?
"Star Wars" fans have praised John Boyega and Daisy Ridley's performances as Finn and Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
Despite working well together, there are rumors that the two may not be getting along very well behind the cameras. Are they at war and did the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" become their battlefield?
According to rumors, Ridley was purportedly irritated that Boyega's ego was not in line with his tenure in Hollywood.
"He knew he needed to be on time, and he wasn't, nor did he apologize," a source reportedly told Star magazine, as quoted by Gossip Cop. "Instead, he was really smug, like he was doing everyone a favor by showing up at all."
"She's not a fan of John's; she hates his arrogance. Fame has gone to his head and it wouldn't be much of a surprise if this is his first and last big role," the source added.
Amid buzz over the claims, the report has been debunked by an entertainment website.
"A rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the Ridley-Boyega claims are 'widely inaccurate,'" the report wrote.
The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" co-stars seem to get along well when they appeared in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in December.
"During the interview, Boyega revealed that he enjoys doing impressions of his cast mates and proceeded to do an absolutely flawless impression of Ridley, much to her delight," The Wrap previously reported.
Despite being newcomers in the epic film franchise, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley are quickly climbing up the Hollywood hierarchy ladder.
"'Star Wars' newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega are among those on Forbes' 30 Under 30: Hollywood and Entertainment list, marking the biggest young names in the biz in the past year," Variety wrote.
Both John Boyega and Daisy Ridley are expected to reprise their roles in "Star Wars: Episode VIII," which is coming out in 2017.
