Fans To See More Of Killer Frost? Danielle Panabaker Hints On Villain’s Extended Appearance On ‘The Flash’
TV Guide revealed that fans of "The Flash" season 2 will get to see more of Killer Frost in the next few episodes, based on the interview with Danielle Panabaker.
Panabaker made this revelation after the character made her debut during the team's visit to Earth-2 to save that world's Jesse, the daughter Earth-2's Harrison Wells.
Meanwhile, Christian Post said that fans will have to wait longer for the villains' origins.
The next episode of "The Flash" will also reveal two storylines involving Caitlyn, whose Earth-1 and Earth-versions each have a major role in the upcoming episode after Tuesday's reveal.
According to Panabaker, the next episode will involve Killer Frost attacking everyone from Earth-1 while the original Caitlyn attempts to create a substance called Velocity 9 in order to restore Jay Garrick's own speed force.
Despite her role as a villain, Panabaker said she had fun playing the part.
"That's the fun thing about coming to play a villain on our show, you really get to take it far and push the envelope and play and really have a great time. She does not have any good motivation in her," Panabaker told TV Guide.
Danielle Panabaker also speculates that the team might not reveal Earth-2 Caitlyn's fate to her Earth-1 counterpart on "The Flash" season 2.
"I think that's something that's maybe kept from Caitlin. I think Barry doesn't want to upset her, so I'm not sure it's information they share with her immediately," she said.
With Jay also coming from Earth-2, Panabaker said the speedster from that dimension was in on the secret to begin with but had the same idea as the "breachers" from Earth-1.
"I imagine if he did, he was doing it to protect her. That would be like finding out your twin is Hitler or something like that. I think if that is something that was kept from her, it was kept with only the best of interests."
Cinema Blend noted earlier that the writers were not sure at first if or when Killer Frost will appear in "The Flash" season 2.
"Previously, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg stated that he and the other writers weren't sure when Caitlin's transition to the dark side would occur," the post from Cinema Blend said.
