Before the unveiling of Xiaomi Mi5 specs and features, company president Lin Bin teased another impressive feature of the flagship device.

Bin posted two alleged camera shots from the Xiaomi Mi5 on Weibo. The first photo showed an image of a beach in a long-range perspective. Meanwhile, the other photo has the same subject but the image appeared to be zoomed in.

Although the images were compressed, the two photos displayed extraordinary autofocus and shutter speed as the two important elements of Xiaomi Mi5's camera, according to Gadgets NTV .

"The background featuring the white sand and green-hued mangrove bush and coconut trees in the image are sharp with no hint of blur, we believe the camera might also boast OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation)," IB Times wrote.

Per the rumor mill, the upcoming flagship will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

In addition to Xiaomi Mi5 specs, the will pull off a 5.2-inch QHD touchscreen with 1080p pixel resolution and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Xiaomi's very own MIUI7 on top of it.

Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang previously explained that the company opted for the said resolution because it has lower power consumption, Deccan Chronicle reported.

On the other hand, another Xiaomi executive teased the phone on Facebook.

Hugo Barra shared a screenshot of the Mi5's home screen which confirmed 1080p resolution, NFC feature and dualsim capability with 4G and CDMA 1x network.

The latest GFX benchmark test result revealed that the phone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 along with a 3GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.

Amid the growth of Xiaomi's market, there's no doubt that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be a tough competitor when launched, Androidpit noted.

The website also pointed out that consumers have already shifted to Chinese phone manufacturers since they offer cheaper and high-quality smartphones similar to popular phone makers.

Watch out for Xiaomi's scheduled event at MWC 2016 as Mi5 specs and features will be showcased at the event.
