"The Jungle Book" 2016 trailer 2 was launched at the recent opening of Super Bowl 50. The release date of the movie was also announced.

In the second trailer of "The Jungle Book" 2016, the Super Bowl 50 audience was hinted with an adventure-packed movie with lead character Mowgli being chased by a black panther, The Daily Mail said in a report.

The lead character, played by child star Neel Sethi, who was raised by Indian wolves, can be seen running for his life as the black panther leaped over him.

"If you can't learn to run with the pack, one of these days you'll be someone's dinner," the Black Panther Bagheera, which was voiced by Ben Kingsley, said.

"The Jungle Book" 2016 trailer 2, which was first released at the Super Bowl 50, also showed beastly Bengal tiger Shere Khan, sniffing over Mowgli's body in what seemed to be a jungle gathering.

"I can't help but notice there's a strange odor today. Man is forbidden!," the ferocious tiger yelled.

Mowgli then set on a journey of discovering his true identity while meeting friends along the way.

The child protagonist also met a silver-tongued orangutan named King Louie, which was voiced out by Christopher Walken.

The charceter also came across a seductive python named Kaa, which was voiced by Scarlette Johanssen.

The "Avengers" actress also sang "Trust In Me" in the animated movie while Bill Murray had a rendition of "The Bare Necessities," a report from Deadline said.

Meanwhile, the final release date of the animated movie "The Jungle Book" was now confirmed to hit the cinemas on April 15.

The Disney movie is a remake of the original 1967 movie of the same name, which was inspired from Rudyard Kipling's collection of stories in 1894.

The Justin Marks-written film also featured voices from Lupita Nyong'o, Giancarlo Esposito, and Idri Elba.
