Lauren Bushnell Allowed To Reveal Engagement To Amp Ratings Of Ben Higgin’s ‘The Bachelor?’
Lauren Bushnell could be hinting on her purported engagement to 2016 "The Bachelor" star Ben Higgins on purpose.
Yibada referred to Bushnell's selfie post on Instagram that showed her already wearing an engagement ring.
"This further ignites the on-going rumors that the flight attendant from West Linn, Oregon, won 'The Bachelor 2016' and is currently engaged to Ben Higgins, 26, a software salesman from Warsaw, Ind.," the post said.
Earlier posts of Reality Steve said that Laura Bushnell and fellow contestant JoJo Fletcher would be in the final two on "The Bachelor" 2016.
The Yibada post said it was already questionable for "The Bachelor" contestant Lauren Bushnell to post the photo.
The site criticized ABC for possibly resorting to a setup simply to boost ratings, as the current ratings were not that low, compared with the previous season.
Romper.com, meanwhile, believes that Bushnell's silence throughout the season was quite telling and lends credence to the rumors that she's going to receive the final rose from Ben Higgins on "The Bachelor" 2016.
"It's starting to look more and more like contestant Lauren Bushnell might make it to the very bitter end," the site wrote.
It added further that, "If anything, her habit of keeping her mouth shut while the show's been on the air is one of the biggest hints that she might get that final rose."
Romper said that compared with the other contestants, Bushnell's social media accounts did not give any indication of what she thinks about her run as one of the contenders for Ben Higgins' heart.
"Is she already under contract to keep quiet until the big reveal? Other contestants have a lot more to say about the show."
The site cited Jubilee, Olivia and Amanda's social media accounts as examples of the buzz being created by the contestants about their experiences on the show so far.
"But Lauren B. has been pretty quiet about it all, save for vibing with her fellow contestants about the episodes on Instagram," Romper said, hinting of the possible winner of "The Bachelor" 2016 starring Ben Higgins.
