James Corden’s Super Bowl Commercial Dissed By Audience; Cindy Crawford Slammed As Well?
James Corden's Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi was dissed by several viewers. The advertisement was reported by Daily Mail, which featured supermodel Cindy Crawford alongside the English TV personality.
The "Carpool Karaoke" comedian joined the "MTV House of Style" host to do a parody of the latter's iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial. The clip started out almost identical to the ad's original version, until the soda gets stuck in a vending machine. James Corden then stepped out to help the supermodel, both donning short denim cutoffs and white tank tops.
However, several online comments about James Corden's Super Bowl commercial were not very positive. Some pointed out how the overweight comic is seemingly promoting an unhealthy lifestyle, adding that the 37-year-old should try to get in shape for the sake of his wife and two children.
"Cordon needs to cut back on the pies - if not for himself, [then for] his young family," one person commented. "Gross individual in more ways than one - he's about as funny and entertaining as a dose of piles."
"He has got [to have] an issue for someone so young," another commenter pointed out. "Just look at that for a shape."
While certain health buffs focused on how the actor needs to be healthier, several bashers simply wanted to be negative towards the personality.
"I wonder what his attractive wife sees in this multi-millionaire, unfunny fat kid," one hater scoffed.
"At some point, someone who pays the bills is going to realize [that] Corden is a talentless idiot," another posted.
While most of the comments about James Corden were negative, Cindy Crawford garnered lots of praise for her sexy appearance, contradicting to what people initially thought happened since Corden was dissed.
The 49-year-old shared a clip of her and James Corden's Super Bowl commercial on her Instagram page, where people gushed at how the mother-of-two looks sexier than other females half her age.
"Most beautiful woman ever!" one fan commented under the photo. "She never ages!"
"For a good minute I thought this was the original until I read the caption!" a reader commented.
