'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Caitlin Snow Fights For Jay Garrick As His Health Spirals Down

Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) arrived in Central City from Earth-2 as reinforcement for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the rest of STAR Labs team in "The Flash" season 2.

However, he does not have his speed and was kept in the sidelines. It is not only because Zoom stole his speed.

In recent "The Flash" season 2 spoilers, he is revealed to be sick and in the future episodes, people will see him at his lowest point.

There is nothing to be afraid though, Jay Garrick fans. Having experienced losing someone she loves, Danielle Panabaker's Caitlin Snow will do everything to save Garrick with whom she has a 'thing' with.

"When Ronnie died, both times he was literally snatched out of Caitlin's life. She had to stand by and watch, helpless," EP Andrew Kreisberg told TV Line, when asked for Garric-related "The Flash" season 2 spoilers.

"But the problem that Jay is facing is [based in] biochemistry - her specialty - so she is determined to not let history repeat itself. Instead of being a victim of fate, she is now in the driver's seat, and that creates a very different dynamic for her."

The showrunner went on to add, "It definitely lets her shine, while also showing a vulnerability to Jay. It's always hard to see your heroes be weak, and in some ways it's harder for the hero themselves, to need to be saved. "

Caitlin Snow and Jay Garrick are having a good time with each other in earlier episodes. They even shared a kiss during the Christmas episode.

The thing is she is not aware of Garrick's sickness. It is a secret that Kreisberg said will stun STAR Labs people.

"Everybody has a secret on our shows and the secret that Jay has been hiding is that he is sick, and for anybody who thought that Jay was just square-jawed and heroic, he's actually been hiding this," Kreisberg dished "The Flash" season 2 spoilers to Access Hollywood.

The next "The Flash" season 2 episode is called "Welcome to Earth-2" and will air on Feb. 9.
