‘PES 2016’ Patch 1.05 Launched To Fix Minor Issues; Free-To-Play Edition For PC Now Accessible
Konami recently launched a free-to-play edition of "PES 2016" and patch 1.05 on consoles.
Along with the arrival of the said edition "PES 2016" patch 1.05 just rolled out for all gaming platforms. It brings fixes to minor issues and changes on goalies and gameplay.
"While [Through Ball Type] is set to [Advanced], the pass distance sometimes become shorter, If the value of [Injury Resistance] is higher, it had been easier to attain injury. When the Camera Type is set to [Player] and the view isn't facing the opposition goal, you cannot make Feint controls," the patch notes read, according to VG247.
"PES 2016" patch 1.05 also addressed issues on poor goal kicks even if it was made on a full power gauge, throw in that cannot be made in match and goals that are not credited on the team's score.
On the other hand, entry level of "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016," also known as "PES 2016," is now available for free on PC.
"Those who haven't yet experienced PES 2016 will be able to download a free, entry-level version of the game which boasts an Exhibition Mode complete with the choice of seven teams including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France," Konami wrote an announcement, per Softpedia.
In addition, players of the free-to-play version can access full training mode on offline and online play through myClub.
The myClub program allows players to unlock new players that can be added on their team through in-game currency and myClub coins for micro-transactions.
The myClub coins can be purchased through Amazon, Mobipicker reported.
During its launch, Konami assured players that the game will receive updates related to the full game's rosters and season updates.
Details of "PES 2016" free-to-play edition and patch 1.05 are posted on the game's official website, while myClub can be downloaded via Steam.
The game's full edition is still available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
