‘Red Dead Redemption’ On Backwards Compatible Games? Title Accessible On Xbox One For Awhile
"Red Dead Redemption" is reportedly heading to backwards compatible games list as players were able to download the title on the Xbox One.
According to the leaked details, players who already own the "Red Dead Redemption" may boot up their Xbox One and search Xbox Live member "RockoHoward" on find a friend option.
Then players should view his profile and go over through his following list which should be sorted by "Games" not "Friends and Games."
Once "Red Dead Redemption" appears on the list, players should click "See in store" and the installation process will pop out, Venture Beat reported.
However, as of this writing the said tricks provided by NeoGAF user are no longer working. Players who have successfully downloaded the game reported that the game failed to launch, but is still working on offline gameplay, Gamespot reported.
Microsoft also advised players not to "play a game before it has been authorized for play on the service" because it violates Xbox Live's code of conduct.

Last week, "Halo Wars" also leaked online that it will be included on backwards compatible games as it was spotted on MarkePlace along with the storage that it accumulated on the Xbox One, Segment Next reported.
The inclusion of "Halo Wars" and "Red Dead Redemption" on the list is not a surprise as these two are among the most requested titles to support the new Xbox One feature.
Per Express UK, upcoming backwards compatible games are expected to be announced whenever they're ready.
"Based on your feedback, the Xbox Engineering team will start to pilot a new way to launch Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles," Microsoft said in a blogpost.
"Starting today, we'll release titles as they become available, rather than a set monthly launch date. What this means for you is that you won't have to wait to find out the latest titles; we'll release whatever is available, when they're available, once each title has received the engineering and publisher stamp of approval."
