WWE WrestleMania 32 Rumors: The Undertaker Refuses Braun Strowman Match Up?
Following the shocking events that took place in 2016 Royal Rumble, the WWE universe is now preparing for the year's biggest event, WrestleMania 32. A handful of rumors claim that The Undertaker is turning down a match against Braun Strowman.
For several decades now, The Undertaker is one of the most sought-after WrestleMania attraction. The wrestler has posted a perfect undefeated record on all his WrestleMania matches, a record that was shattered when he faced against Brock Lesnar in WrestleMania 30, according to Inquistr.
The Undertaker has always been billed in the last nine WrestleMania events. Previous rumors speculated that he is facing John Cena, unfortunately the latter sustained a shoulder injury which ruled him out of the upcoming event.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon is planning to book a match between The Undertaker and Braun Strowman at WWE WrestleMania 32. Alvarez later cleared that although the match would be a big crowd attraction, he is skeptical whether it will actually take place.
Alvarez said, "Vince McMahon loves Braun Strowman, because he's big and so what he would like is to have Braun Strowman versus The Undertaker at WrestleMania."
"I don't know if they've even asked The Undertaker yet, because the last time I talked to somebody about this they said they hadn't even asked because the assumption was Undertaker is gonna say no," he added.
Some rumors about WWE WrestleMania 32 also surfaced regarding the superstar status of Braun Strowman.
In the past, The Undertaker faced off with top wrestlers like Triple H, Shawn Michaels Batista and Randy Orton on WWE's biggest event. Braun Strauman, according to some fans, is still inexperienced and is in fact not in par with The Undertaker in terms of superstar status.
With WWE WrestleMania 32 happening in April, expect more rumors regarding possible match ups and twists. The event will be held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
